Can we bring back the wild card? A do-over? How about starting season 9 again from scratch? By the end of Thursday night's Top 16 results show, we had our 'American Idol' 9 Top 12, but I wasn't liking the results.

Has America gone mad? Sending home the terrifically gifted jazz chanteuse Lilly Scott? Her performance of Patsy Cline's 'I Fall To Pieces' this week wasn't one of her best, but she was miles beyond the kidlets, Katie Stevens and Aaron Kelly, who perform like they're playing dress-up in their parents' bedroom.

And Tim Urban, who gets praise from the judges for basically not sucking, got more votes than Alex Lambert, whose sweet sandpaper vocals made up for his lack of experience. America? What the hell is wrong with you?!
